| With a Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and nearly a dozen large law firms, Greater Cincinnati is an active legal center. In addition, Cincinnati is home to the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights, established in 1979 as the first endowed institute at an American law school devoted to the study of international human rights law. The IVC has hosted numerous programs on Judicial Reform, Human Rights, and Legal issues. Past programs have included attention to human rights education, rule of law, strengthening of legal systems, U.S. court administration, and legal aid programs. Resources
